When you create an account, we collect information through our authentication provider (Clerk), which may include your name, email address, and profile information. If you sign in with a third-party provider (Google, LinkedIn), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

1.2 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial account information on our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by their privacy policy.

1.3 Deal and Business Information

When you use Deal Lab AI or Deal Lab Coach, you may enter information about your business deals, customers, pipeline, and other business context. This information is provided voluntarily and at your discretion.

1.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Services, including pages visited, features used, session duration, and module completion (for Deal Lab Coach).

1.5 Contact Form Submissions

If you submit a contact form on our website, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message). These submissions are processed through Netlify Forms.

1.6 Cookies and Session Data

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication session management and basic analytics. These are functional cookies required for the Services to operate. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

3.1 AI Processing

Deal Lab AI and Deal Lab Coach use Anthropic's Claude API to process your inputs and generate coaching responses, deal analysis, and training content. When you enter deal information, it is sent to Anthropic's API for processing.

Important: Your deal data is not used to train Anthropic's AI models. Processing occurs under Anthropic's API terms, which prohibit using API inputs for model training.

3.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI processing for deal coaching and inspection
• Netlify — website hosting and form processing

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies and terms of service.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Deal Lab session data is stored in our database and associated with your account. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all data transmission.

While we take precautions to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Services at your own risk.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion
• Deal Lab sessions: Retained for the duration of your account. You may delete individual sessions at any time through the application
• Contact form submissions: Retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry
• Payment records: Retained as required by applicable financial regulations

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
